Without really noticing, we are now into the 6th days of Year 2010. Everyone was busy setting their new year's resolution(s) towards the end of year 2009 and look back what they have and have not achieved. Well... for me, I did not make any resolution for year 2009. But this year... I've set a few of things that I have to achieve or to fulfill at least 50% of them.
My resolutions are set as follow (without priority order) :
1. To complete my Toastmasters' CC manual by end of year 2010 .... that means 8 more speeches to go!!! Gambatte!!! I need ideas and inspirations for this!!!
2. To be able to read at least 80% of a simple CHINESE articles. So, I've already took the first step in achieving this resolution. I've bought the QUEEN (女人我最大!!) magazine and plan to subscribe for it. Fellow friends, please guide me and teach me more chinese!!! As I realize that knowing Chinese will be a benefit if travelling to China, Taiwan & HK!! or mayb when going to Japan, Chinese may also be useful! :D
3. To have healthier body and slimmer body!!! To ensure that I don't fall sick easily. Got to get rid of my small 'spare tyre'. Michelle.... I need you to PUSH me!!! Go GYM..... so I may need to cut down cheesecakes intake!!!
I guess having 3 resolutions seems not too much. But all need strong determination to achieve it. So, fellow friends, I NEED YOU!!! Wish me luck!!!
I will try to review my 'achievements' every two months!!! As I know if I review it monthly, I will be more stress!!!

HAPPY 2010 YEAR !!!!
Without noticing, it's now 3rd of January 2010!!! The year of Twenty Ten indeed has a good start.
On the 1st day of the year, I had an enjoyable and fantastic BBQ dinner with Toastmasters buddies at Dusun & Margaret's residence. Thanks to the host for the nice spaghetti and hospitality. Not forgetting our organiser - Shane Ho for arranging all the food and.... especially for the BBQ Mashmallow ;) !!!! it's superb!!! And thanks to Melissa & Chang Li Li for the BBQ bananas idea.... it's indeed very delicious and sweet!!!! In addition to that, I learned a new yet very simple recipe.... BBQ Bread!!! Just spread some butter on a piece of bread and some sugar (brown sugar will taste better)... and leave it on the BBQ 'stove' for few minutes till it turns light brown.... and it'll taste better than normal toast!!!
Yesterday... was another great meal!!! haha.... had a nice dinner at SRC...thanks to my generous hubby :D It's a small gathering with my family and aunties. It's truly a good start for this year!!! Bravo!!!
Tonite....there'll be another great wedding dinner to attend. It's my Toastmasters Buddies' wedding - Jimmy & Winnie, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
It seems like my year begins with food and nice gatherings!!! Great!!! Looking forward for more gatherings but I guesss I have to have more exercise sessions in order to enjoy more good food and stay slim!!!
Cheers,
Just me... Belle
